Day Three
17 December 2012
-----------------------------

0500H-- with sleep still in our eyes, we managed to stumble out of the hotel and into the van. Kuya Driver was smiling as he shepherded us in, probably amused at how we looked, but still impressed that we somehow managed to get up early even though we ended a very tiring day yesterday with food and booze.

I thought, that kind of lifestyle wasn't really new to us-- not to mention, the added baggage of having to survive the everyday adventures of battling orcs and monsters in the Metro's concrete jungle-- so yes,we've had worse moments; all of which, included getting up on our feet for hospital duty with just an hour or maybe even less of sleep...

Sagada offered a relaxed and pollution-free atmosphere so we all felt rested despite getting only a few hours of sleep (by professional-standards, it was sufficient XD); and anyway, the reason for all that trouble was worth it. Some might think it a waste of time, but if you have been living in the metro for nearly all your life and working means going to work early and coming home from work late, catching the sun rise is a novelty in itself.

More so, if you watch it at Mt. Kiltipan, surrounded by pine trees and blanketed by the cold Sagada atmosphere...

here comes the sun... doo-roo-doo-doo~ well it's alright~♪

This was our last day in Sagada; by nightfall we would already be on our way back to Manila. It was back to work again tomorrow.

and so, we wait. XD

*sigh* missing Sagada...
the gang, minus Sir Ian. he went down the cliff again. >_<

I miss these guys. :(

Wacky Shot One: With the Ifugao Princess. XD

Wach Shot Two: I'm not sure what possessed us to do this. XD

Cess, Ian, Me.

For breakfast, we bought bread, coffee, eggs and hotdog at a convenient store in town; and Sir Ian took charge of the cooking once more with Mary, while the others cleaned up for our departure at around 8 or 9am.

bye Sagada. I'll miss you. </3

It would take hours before we reach our next destination, so we had to make a couple of pit-stops for bladder breaks, souvenir and vegetable shopping (it was CHEAP! XD), etc...

Of course, a Cordillera Region Tour isn't considered 'complete' without ever paying homage to the very testament of the Ancient Ifugao's engineering ingenuity-- the crown-jewel of the Cordillera Administrative Region-- that is THE Banaue Rice Terraces.

okay, this was kind of dangerous. >.<

it IS dangerous. I nearly fell! >_<
rock stars! XD
(pero kabado... haha)

Thanks Chelle! :D

And finally...

That concludes the length of our Sagada Escapade.

As of today, October 2013, what remains of 'The Sagada Group' is just me and Sir Ian. Most of them have resigned in search of greener pastures-- Sir Ian was promoted to a supervisory position just a few weeks after that trip while I, being the most junior of the bunch, went on to finish my contract but filed an intent to transfer to a different department for personal reasons.

This, however, doesn't mean that our adventures would stop. In fact, this coming January 2014, we will be going to Cagayan De Oro and Camiguin JUST BECAUSE-- and, maybe, somewhere else in-between... so watch out for that.

We may all be working for different companies now but we all still keep in-touch with each other, with the exception of Mary who is... kind of too far away now. XD I suppose I'll just send her an email with pictures. Hahaha.

And who knows? Maybe we'll all get together again and go beyond the borders of our beloved Archipelago...
