After nearly two years, I am finally coming home to the Philippines for a vacation! But first! Lay-over in Dubai!

Ice skating. Dubai Mall. Gold Souq. Al Seef. Shisha. The convenience of a functional, clean, reliable, and state-of-the-art metro station. Cheap taxi rides. Friends who never fail to make you laugh. Friends who make sure you're feet stay on the ground...

I never thought I'd say this, but when I stepped out of the plane, I felt quite at home in Dubai. I mean, I've worked here for two and a half years, and I knew how stuff works so... I kinda miss it. A little. The place, perhaps, but not working there. That's all I'm going to say. Haha.

I still can't wait to go back to the Philippines though. Home is home. :)
